1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Humnly ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.
2. Description of Service
Humnly provides an AI-powered text humanization service that transforms AI-generated content into natural human writing. The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. Humnly reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Humnly to: (a) violate any applicable laws or regulations; (b) infringe on the intellectual property rights of others; (c) submit content that is harmful, offensive, or illegal; (d) attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the Service; (e) resell or redistribute the Service without written permission; (f) use the Service to create content intended to deceive or defraud others. Academic use is permitted, but users are solely responsible for compliance with their institution's policies on AI tool usage.
5. Intellectual Property
The Humnly platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Humnly and protected by intellectual property laws. Content you submit remains yours. Content you receive as output from the Service is yours to use, subject to any applicable laws. You grant Humnly a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service.
6. Content Policy
We do not permanently store the text you submit for humanization. Your input text is processed in real time and not retained after the session. We do not use your content to train our models. We may retain anonymized, aggregated usage statistics that contain no personally identifiable information.
7. Payment and Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. All payments are processed securely through Paddle. By subscribing, you authorize Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except as described in our Refund Policy.
8. Free Plan Limitations
The Free plan is limited to 500 words per day. This limit resets at midnight UTC. Humnly reserves the right to modify free plan limitations at any time with reasonable notice to users.
9. Disclaimers
Humnly is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We do not guarantee specific outcomes from using the Service, including but not limited to passing any particular AI detection system. Detection bypass rates mentioned are based on historical testing and may vary.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Humnly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Humnly operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
